Say It Isn't So
I was in Target today doing a little shopping for my upcoming trip when I saw that all the freaking Back to School stuff is out! Already?? It's only mid-July! And we don't start until after Labor Day (by law)! This is just wrong!

Many of our districts are on year-round and started their new school year last week. I think Target is smart to push school supplies early.
Of course, I'm such a nerd I had the complete opposite reaction; even though we don't start until the day after Labor Day, I went in to Target the other day just so I could stock up on supplies for my classroom and take advantage of their sale prices.
Yeah, I didn't think about year-round schools (because I really don't think there are any around here), and I suppose it's good marketing... but I am still just not ready to think of my summer as being close to over!
I'm not ready either. I'm sort of in limbo right now. I know I face large, huge, amounts of work and can't start yet. School supplies out, yikes!
